Thursday is my new favorite...

because Thursdays I have a play date with Katy. We talk and play photo for hours! Katy is interesting, funny and super talented! We played with my camera and talked about workflow, topics that would excite only the true photographer at heart. Here are some of the shots taken today. Thanks Katy for coming over to play. I can't wait to play next Thurs!

remembering SUMMER

I have time on these cold winter days to look back at the images taken this past summer. These made me smile...not because my sweet friend was hurt...but because and event like this always makes one feel closer to those involved. My dear friend broke her little toe on my coffee table, and her super goofy husband played doctor :)

happiness is PASTRY!

So it is time...time I show my little girls just HOW make food...good food! The food that makes you smile when you walk in the door and SMELL....Ahhhh! it is that feeling that someone cared so much about you that they took time to shop, prepare, and bake food...really good food.

So we begin today with Cinnamon Rolls. What could be more perfect on a day home from school?

Meet Katy.....Hi Katy :)

I met with Katy for coffee. We share a common passion for photography, so we met to talk shop and plan some photog outings. Katy is super fun and full of great ideas. Best of all she does improv. at a local comedy shop! Isn't that COOL! I think it is super COOL!

Field TRIP!

I took myself on a field trip to visit the print shop that I use (and love)...and now I love them even more! Everyone was so informative, welcoming questions and happy to answer. I was given a tour of the entire shop from the computers that receive all the lovely JPG images to color correction, to the printing, binding, packaging and finally shipping. More than ever I have the utmost confidence in my White House. They are simply the best!

I am super excited to be offering these impressive canvas prints to clients in 2008. I ordered some prints so clients can view and touch the real live thing.

Talk about "WOW". I'm beside myself dazzled at their quality and sheer beauty. I love BIG prints...not only are these BIG but the fact that they pop out 2 inches from the wall really give them dimension and PUNCH!
