color makes me happy

While cleaning out a closet today I was reminded of one of my passions. Sewing. I am not sure if I really like sewing or if I just like the colors and textures of the fabrics. Hope your day is filled with pretty colors!

Bring out the brown bottles

When one of my darlings is feeling under the weather I give them a hot apple cider vinegar bath, rub tea tree oil on their feet and dose them with the worst tasting liquid known to man...but they help us to feel better in short order. If they are really feeling bad we bring out the wet sock treatment...Yikes!

Daily Audio Bible

I can have a meaningful conversation with my kids while I drive. I run with friends so that we can talk, encourage and support each other. I can make supper while my husband does the dishes so that we can be catch up on the days events. I am always looking to make my life more simple and efficient. Is it terrible that I have found a way to get my daily dose of Bible while I work?try it!

Sarah and Joel

Sarah and Joel met through hockey...well not exactly...but they both love hockey and they both play hockey and it did play a part in bringing them together. St. Olaf is where they met and will be married. I am super excited for their wedding!!

At the end of the game.....

I say no to playing Chess, mostly because it looks so haaaarrrd! I'm more of an Othello, Sequence, Scrabble kinda girl. Last night, with no good reason to say no, I agreed to play Chess with my Nate. We play the game...I did quite well for not really knowing how to play, but I did lose. As we are put the pieces away Nate says, "at the end of the game the pawn and the king go into the same box".
Blow me over!
