Mini got a hair cut

I really should have taken a before and after to show the extreme contrast. Over the winter she refused to cut her hair...it was beginning to look like dreadlocks!

Ryan and Joy....

I am so bummed I will not be at Ryan and Joy's wedding, but super happy I had the opportunity to spend some time with them here in the Cities. They will be married near some orchards in MI, should be stunning!!

Six Prays God Always Answers.....

go...no RUN to Barnes and Noble and pick up this book! Six Prayers God Always Answers is coauthored by the pastor of North Heights Lutheran Church, Mark Herringshaw. I was lucky enough to meet with him last summer to get some promotional shots.

I get my copy on Thursday, and I just can't wait. Right now, 12:03am, my husband is snoring up a storm next to me, I am hoping one of those prayers has something to do with snoring husbands! Kidding! I would miss his snores if they weren't here!

Well, after leaving Las Vegas I took a small detour to help the good people of Louisiana in rebuilding some homes.  Have you ever tried building a house when your arms don't move?  Unfortunately I have no pictures to show you of my work as I had to sell my camera to pay for passage across the US.  I am now in Florida.  I had intended to home by now, but I am enjoying this taste of freedom and I may continue my travels a bit longer.

I was able to find short term work here in FL cat sitting for a very nice elderly couple who summer in the north.  They will be returning soon and I don't know where I will go next.  I also found time for my new passion, bird watching.  Amazing animals!!  Well, I have to go clean the little box and give Mr. Bigglesworth his evening meal.

let me give you a clue, look at the sides.  Now look at the middle.  Brownies on the side, no brownie in the middle.  Clearly my kido's love the gooooy, soft middle.  So guess who is stuck with the hard sides?  Just call me a human garbage can, I eat what everyone else won't.  I'll never tell them that the crust actually *is* the best piece of bread!  I just raise my eye brows and tell them, "no, it's okay, I'll take the crust".  hehe :]

Gnome get's a job as a pool cleaner

Hello Faimly,

I am sorry for the delay.  I decided to stay a bit longer.  After the nice elderly cat owners came back to FL I found work as a pool cleaner.  Attached is a picture of me with my boss.  I did not last long at that job as the snorkel was not long enough for me.  Again, having arms that don't move has cost me a job!  I miss you!
